Team SCS Sunday, January 27!

Our first ever Team SCS kicks off Sunday!
See you Sunday, January 27 at Garrett Park for some basketball or tennis from 2-3 pm! Bring your rackets and tennis balls for a match or two!
It should be a fun time! Hope to see you there! If the weather should turn bad (right now it looks great), please call the dojo and I’ll have information on the voice mail!

Notice: Message Servers May Delay New Post Notification

Last week, several people showed up for BBC on Friday, January 18.
After researching the situation, we found that several mail servers delayed the delivery of the e-mail for the post titled “BBC This Friday!” by almost an entire week.
We apologize for the confusion, and will now include the date in the titles of our posts. To be sure you are aware of upcoming events, please post the monthly calendar included in the newsletter in a convenient location at your home or office, and refer to this blog to stay up to date.
Anyone who uses the calendar from our website is encouraged to be sure that the system clock on their computer is set to local time and to make sure that any Windows updates are current. This has also been a problem for some people with our Google Calendar feature.
Again, we apologize, and encourage you to keep the monthly calendar at hand so that you can be sure of our events. We will do our best to notify you in case of any changes.

Belt Promotion Ceremony, Friday, January 25th!

This Friday will be our Belt Promotion Ceremony. The Juniors will be held at 7:00. The adults will be held Thursday, January 24, at 7:30 pm.

Announcements: Week of January 21 through January 27

Happy Peak Week!
Here are a few things that are going on this week that you’ll want to know about!
1) Candidates need to turn in their Belt Promotion Forms no later than Tuesday, January 22!
2) Belt Promotion is this Friday, January 25 at 7:00 for Li’l Champions and Juniors. Adults - your ceremony will be held Thursday, January 24 at the 7:30 class.
3) Team SCS Starts this Sunday, January 27 at Garrett Park. Bring your basketball and tennis rackets and balls for a great time! We will start at 2:00 and end at 3:00 - ish. The whole family is invited to come play!
4) The new newsletter is online and we will be handing them out during classes this week! Be sure to note the upcoming events. BBC Members! This month’s class will be Nunchakus! We will be selling the foam nunchakus for $3.00 each. Please place your order no later than February 1 to be sure you will have your’s for BBC Night!

Team SCS is a group that’s FREE* to all SCS Members!
We will focus on:
· Team Building
· Family Involvement
· Physical Fitness
· Personal Improvement
· Fun!
Our goal is to meet at least once a month to play a sport or participate in a fun activity.
We will be doing baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball, hiking, bicycling and more.
If enough people are interested, we would like to add bowling* and golf *to the list!
*Some events may have fees associated with them.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you had a safe and happy New Year’s Eve! It’s 2008 and we all want to prepare to be great!
